Guys i would be willing to buy those 2 gears if we decide on a good gear ratios that will help our cars be faster. What do you guys think about that?
I propose something like:
RPM Shift point 8000
3rd gear to 1.456 - if shifting at 8000rpm, from 2nd to 3rd, it will drop to 5999rpm
4th gear to 1.200 - if shifting at 8000rpm, from 3rd to 4th, it will drop to 6592rpm

We can see other gear ratios options, but something more track friendly than those long stock gears. If we are getting new aftermarket gears, lets get them done the best we can.

Any thoughts?

Thats the problem on the B13/14 trans

i think/thought it was also a issue with the 99 p11 trans (as its a weird bird)

The case is the problem with the gears shredding. The case flexes enough that the gears aren't fully seated into one another anymore and are turning on the outside of the teeth. A welded case with a good set of gears would be ideal...or a billet case which is outrageous. Just saying.

The 99 P11 box is the same as a B13/B14 box. These trannies don't have the issues with the case cracking. I ran my B15 box on over 600hp for a while but it eventually broke 4th gear. I never broke 3rd but I figured I might as well change it along with the 4th gear.

Same here... 3rd/4th/5th gears for road racing for P11/B15 style. Power level - not more 250whp. Let me know what price range are we looking at.

kevwal and MFactory, I would also be interested in 1 set for my P11 Box, I make roughly 500whp on low boost but would like an option to strenghthen my gearbox.

I too was exploring the option of going 6 speed, but this seems to be a cheaper option, and like kevwal would prefer not to start from scratch. I'm not to sure how I feel about changing gear ratios since I like what 3rd and 4th do currently for my powerband.

@MFactory, when your minimum of buyers commits, what are you expecting as far as payment is concerned or am I way ahead of the process already by asking such a question? (1/2 up front, 1/2 on completion; full payment upfront; turn around time and warranty if any at all).

Let me explain warranty: We all commit, we all receive, all install and arrive at a common problem, (IE. Mazworx 6 speed mount kit)...what happens then?

Normally, for custom orders, we would:

1) Someone sends us an oem sample to take our measurements from
2) We give a confirmed price
3) Once we get the minimum confirmed buyers, we start taking 50% deposits
4) Once we receive the minimum deposits, we start developing the initial prototype. During this time, you guys will need to decide between you who will be doing the testing
5) Once the prototype is finished, we send the parts to the official tester, who will test the parts. If there are any issues during testing, we will go back and forth to sort any problems
6) Once testing has finished and the product is confirmed 100% ok for production, we start production
7) Once the parts have finished production, we start taking the remaining 50%. However, we do not need to wait for everyone to finish paying first; We receive your remainder, we will ship your parts to you

With regards to warranty, our warranty covers manufacturers defects upon receipt and initial installation. Once it is running in your transmission, as with all aftermarket transmission gears from any company, there is no warranty as there are just too many variables that can cause a transmission failure.

However, as the part will be fully tested during the "testing phase", this will keep any potential issues to an absolute minimum. This is why it is of utmost importance that you guys choose the correct person to do the testing.
