I may be very interested in the near future, 6 months. Has anyone had the OEM VLSD's rebuilt? The plate style is best for drag? How would it perform in autox or on the streets? I am in the process of getting a few transmissions together for me to come home to and build.
Just something to put out there. I have a 2010 Cobalt SS turbe and was a member of cobaltss.net (thought I was a lifetime member by purchasing the highest membership level but I guess not lol) But it is just funny to see the difference in the knowlege base and general banter on the thread. It is nice to be on a forum that isnt all full of dumb questions and hatred

Plate type won't take as long, as we already have all the specs from the Helical. Would just be a matter of having a tester test it properly.

For Plate type, we would need at least 15 buyers though, as it is a lot more complicated to make than the Helical, thus a lot more expensive to make. MSRP on these are $899.95

The OEM VLSD is a sealed unit from the factory. It would take someone alot of machines and skills to take apart and "re-juice" the sealed OEM VLSD unit. Since the VLSD wears out over time and is not truly serviceable, no one bothers with keeping one. It was only recent that mFactory opened up their product line to our Nissans.
