Word on the street is that the test fitment is complete. More info soon from MFactory I'm sure.

so a little update.... i had hoped this would of been finished today. instead a phone call to advise that my current bearings have been water damaged, and are crap, so they will need to be replaced. good news is the little bearing is a very common part number, and i should have it in 2 days. once the little bearing is fitted, i can get my guys to place it in and check clearance.

i have a jn15 vzr gearbox, and when my guys pulled the big bearing off, it was the same number is members's "bhowle" one. so for those putting one in after me, some important numbers are...

31408-31X08 Big bearing (for lhs)
38440-D2100 Small bearing (for rhs)
38342-8E001 Axle seal (little axle seal)
38342-8E002 Axle seal (big axle seal)

now the seals and little bearing you should pick up no problem, the big one could be a problem, but is currently available for amayama trading via nissan japan.

one thing noted is the alignment holes (for mine) aren't spot on, but they will be for yours, and really it doesn't matter anyway, so long as the bolt holes are fine, which they are. below is a photo of the helical underneath the oem viscious.

I am having fitment issues in the trans case due to the way the diff was machined. I'm taking it to my machinist tomorrow to hopefully have it fixed and complete a final test fit. I had the same issue with the bolt holes as sss4me, but as he mentioned it is not a big deal and everything bolted up correctly.

We've found 2 issues so far: the alignment holes, and clearance on the flange (where the ring gear bolts onto).

Both issues are easy fixes, and will be fixed for the production units. Just waiting for the testers to confirm final fitment, and we can start finishing the units off
