Thread: 6 speed swap kit issues

X2 bump, and great question...........ANY UPDATES?

Well It has been quite a long wait to see this issue resolved. I bought some metal friday to start working on building my own mounts. It's been raining like crazy in NE FL this weekend, so no progress yet. I hope yall know that both of the mounts will have to be redesigned if one of them gets shifted. I bought enough metal to redo both of mine. It'll be next weekend before I get to work on them though. The rain is picking up steam as I type. over 5 inches fell so far

We are working as quickly as we can on this. We think we have come up with a solution and they are being made right now as we speak. As soon as they are ready we will contact the appropriate contacts.

It's been a while...how's the solution looking?

Relax dude it hasent even been two weeks since they last responded they are involved with many projects give th some time and I am sure they will produce a great product.

We have sent one of the mounts to be tested. Once we hear back, then we will let everyone know.

As posted previously, we sent a new prototype mount to be tested. Although it seems to have gone in and no issues so far with it, from the pictures, we are still not 100% happy with it. Without having a car here to test it ourselves and see what is going on, its going to be hard to get this perfect the first time.

What we are asking now, that anyone from the area willing to help out, we will need a car here to fit this before we go any further with it. If anyone has insight to where one maybe available, or someone is willing to help out, please email [email]eric@mazworx.com[/email].

At this point, we cannot produce the mount kit confidently to be able to offer this back out to the community until we are 110% sure on it.
