We havent tested it, we have talked to several n/a guys that were interested in doing it. In theory it should work fine, but again we have never tested it. Looking at the design of the factory gasket, and compared it with the OEM Honda gasket which most high horsepower Honda guys use that are just bored out, this is the same application.

Yeah, the honda guys are big into oem bored out gaskets. Even the big 1000+whp guys are using oem gaskets bored out.

My buddy used an oem gasket done by golden eagle on his sleeved/big bore f20 motor. Worked perfectly. As long as there is still enough firing ring left which i dont see why there wouldnt be being the firing ring doesnt even start on the gasket till about 1.5-2mm back on each side.

Id say give it a shot on the oem. Looks like a nice cheap option.

when the OEM gasket is bored, the o-ring portion gets removed.

no o-ring = less sealing.
