HELP HID RETROFIT for b14 kit
Im sick and tired of stupid hids on non projector setup getto and non road friendly and potentially dangerous to other incoming drivers well aware of that so im on my mission on bitting the bullet and making my own, but i dont know what kit to get, what size, mini standard or what, im looking for something that can almost go in without having to hack my harness, looking for something that requires little cutting or slight modifications, since i got lucino headlights i think projector would look better on clear lenses, i just want some helo to steer me on the right direction on what complete kit to get thanks

I retrofitted my b13 sunny headlights with morimoto mini h1 projectors. I dont remember cutting anything. I stayed with 35w bulbs/ballast to prevent the bulb from burning headlight housing. ive been running these projectors for 3 years now and havent had no problems so far.

Oh perfect that's what i was looking for! Couple more quick questions, this will bolt right up to my existing headlight bulb connector? Do this kit comes with ballast and bulbs as well or this link its only for the projectors

I can give you my experience........I chose to go with DDMTuning H1-V3 kit. Its a knock off of the Morimoto projectors at a cheaper price. I've been able to compare with Morimoto and the difference to me wasnt worth the extra coin. I can also tell you, said DDM projector will fit the Lucino headlights using the standard (Mini G i think they call it?) $10 choice of shrouds with plenty of room left. There is 0 cutting involved. This goes the same for the B13 Tsuru (and i'd imagine USDM) and P10 USDM headlights (i've done those as well with the same kits). I dont know what your preference for bulb choice is, but H1 is an easy choice with easily replaced bulbs....etc (even though all DDM stuff has lifetime hassle free warranty). I went with 4.5k and 5k bulb temp. Anything higher is too blue for me. If you get the HID kit from them also you'll have all the wiring you'll need just be sure to get the connector for the 9004/9008 plug depends on your B14 years (95-97 = 9004 and 98-99 = 9008, some one correct me if i'm wrong but i think thats correct). Theres no cutting there either. One thing I did however was got my HID bulbs for one car from Retrofitsource and the quality is a hair better, but I'd imagine even more so if I had gotten the ballast from there as well. But the price and warranty from DDM is hard to say no to. As mentioned I'd go with 35w becuz 55w is much hotter and will shorten the life of the bulb. I've never compared the difference, but i've stayed with 35w cause i have yet to be disappointed. If you have any question let me know, i've done about 5 set of headlights (B14, B13, P10). I'm at the point I can knock out a retrofit in about 45-60 mins or so

Here's the set I did for @Kyle over a year ago and dude has still yet to install them #SlackerCity

HID retrofit as created and then installed by fellow member, @speedricer.

I aligned them really late last night and had no camera with me to take a picture. Everything looks freakin' amazing!!! I cannot believe how well I can now see at night.
