I did this on my VE too.Worked great...but my DE+T has the top mounted filter so I used an autotech motoring adapter on it...I believe Matts B14 DET is also top mounted filter,and there the oil cooler in that area too so its tight to get all the sensors on .
I actually got one of these Greddy plates at a pretty good deal but heres the issue for those who dont know about it. The thread for some of the highports vs lowport and RR/VE is different. Uses a different filter. If you look at the 2 adapter that come with the plate in the picture, noticed the smaller one is a smaller thread size, obviously. That fits my high port oil HOWEVER for whatever stupid reason Greddy didnt make the female side of the adapter that same size so it wont screw on to my highport oil filter housing. Both adapters use the same size threading on the female side (the bigger lowport RR/VE size). Doesnt make sense to me why they didn't make the smaller adapter use the same smaller female thread so it would go on the highport housing. This being said I havent decided between swapping oil pans or oil filter housings (i have a spare Roller Rocker/VE housing). But if i swap to that housing, i can use the plate and whichever oil filters I want since I have both adapters. Hopefully that made sense.
