Why not just use a sandwich adapter plate that you can use for the oil temp and pressure. Probably alot easier than trying to pull your oil pan and tap it and reinstall and it's fairly inexpensive. This is how I installed my gauges on my VE in my B13 and it works great. I'll bet the temp readings out of that spot are just as accurate as the pan. Plus I don't think you see the GTR pulling oil temp readings from its oil pan so it must not matter.

I did this on my VE too.Worked great...but my DE+T has the top mounted filter so I used an autotech motoring adapter on it...I believe Matts B14 DET is also top mounted filter,and there the oil cooler in that area too so its tight to get all the sensors on .

do you have the model number for that sandwhich plate?although don't have problem with stock filtper location . more convenience less stress lol. would running this relocation kit along with a oil cooler put a stress on the det oil pumps?jus curious

I doubt it would put any more stress on the pump. Its no so much as a relocation kit as it is just an adapter "sammiched" between the filter and original spot

This one does limit you to using 1/8PT threaded sensors which is the only downside. A company called STRi used to make one that let you install 1/8NPT or 1/8PT sensors but I think they stopped making them.

I actually got one of these Greddy plates at a pretty good deal but heres the issue for those who dont know about it. The thread for some of the highports vs lowport and RR/VE is different. Uses a different filter. If you look at the 2 adapter that come with the plate in the picture, noticed the smaller one is a smaller thread size, obviously. That fits my high port oil HOWEVER for whatever stupid reason Greddy didnt make the female side of the adapter that same size so it wont screw on to my highport oil filter housing. Both adapters use the same size threading on the female side (the bigger lowport RR/VE size). Doesnt make sense to me why they didn't make the smaller adapter use the same smaller female thread so it would go on the highport housing. This being said I havent decided between swapping oil pans or oil filter housings (i have a spare Roller Rocker/VE housing). But if i swap to that housing, i can use the plate and whichever oil filters I want since I have both adapters. Hopefully that made sense.

Damn that suck.Greddy needs to get their shit together...my 12 dollar ebay one is working great still...IU removed it off my nx before I sold it to Dave,and now its on my SER with no issues or leaks,etc. I dont think you could use mine on a highport anyway because of the location of the filter up top like that and the sahpe of the ebay adapter.Its not round like the greddy

These are on VEs right? I couldnt use it before of the thread sizing difference i metioned eariler, this is way I'm thinking of removing my highport housing for this RR/VE housing to use it
