update, i followed the instructions, and this is what they came out to look like. i also did the rear middle thing in the middle of the hub, as it was volcanic orange as well with my brembo rotor hats and edges. i just washed the car, so you see some of the surface rust. after like 5min of driving, it will look brand new again....

i also got tired of my brembo blanks getting surface dust all over them. i ended up wet sanding them down and removing most of it, and hitting it with a high temp primer and vht caliper paint. i think they came out rather well. The rear hubs have that wierd thing in the center of the wheels that the fronts dont have, and that also had crazy amount of surface rust on it as well. the rust was almost as bright as the volcanic orange the 04-06 spec's come in. This should give you guys an idea, but it was a lot worse.

before. this was a year ago, but it was worse with the new brembo rotors:

the after:

you can see some of the surface rust on the rotor itself, as i just washed the car, but the rotor will look back to new once i start driving the car again. when ever water hits it, it turns a wierd orange.

i think they came out good, as now im not embarrassed as my rotor hats and edges arent volcanic orange, and the rear hub thing isnt either. car just flows better imo.

great writeup. i used vht caliper paint though, and had to bake them onto the rotor. the rear hub thing was a duplicolor high temp primer and a gloss back engine enamal.
