Making your fogs illuminate more on your B14
i haven't seen anyone try this, so i wondered how i could get my fogs to light more and i decided to try this.

i bought these here lights, $11 shipped from ebay

then i removed this guy

then it met my handy dremel

to make this idiot proof i took a pic of the 2 side by side, notice how the one on the left doesn't have the lip hanging down

the reflector housing with the dremeled lip is on the passenger side, both aimed equal height and it gives off so much more lighting

this is how i see at night,

I dont want my fogs any brighter than they are with the hid's. Its still illegal to drive with your fogs on with oncomming traffic in my state, and i beleive in alot of other states that is still true as well. Is like a 200 dollar ticket in my area, my wife got pulled over in her 08 se-r for her fogs on but played the dumb blonde and got out of it.

there are alot of regulations in florida as well but the cops let alot of things slide, redneck guys with lifted trucks drive with fogs and hids on all the time

You guys are lucky then out there. I got hid's with my fogs pointed up to flash 4x4's in my area with hid's that piss me off LOL. hid high beams and fogs is a good way to get back at them.

Foglights illegal with oncoming traffic? WTF is the point then? FOG lights (not driving lights, yes there's a difference) are designed to illuminate the roadway no more than 25ft. out so that you can see the LINES IN THE ROAD AND EDGES. Not so you can see a car from 300ft. This is why the beam pattern is low and wide.

EDIT: OP, you've ruined the point of a fog lamp system by cutting off that lip. I'm sure you got what you intended, but obviously different from the intended design of the lamp assembly.

Just a note for everyone else... Doing this doesn't increase your visibility in poor vision weather (fog, heavy rain, etc.) You've effectively reduced it, actually.

Look up your state laws, i bet its illegal in alot of yoru states to. Its illegal because your not supposed to drive with them on all the time unless theirs fog...hence fog lights. If its a clear night you can get in trouble, specially lots of trucks.
