has anybody had issues with the power steering cooler lines that come out right under the passenger side headlight abover the frame reail where the bumper goes into nd ties up....?

Mine seem to stick out a little and Im worried theyre going to hit. Theyre pretty hard to bend as well.

maybe Im over thinking it....

Just cut the lines off if they are in the way and use an ser ps cooler or a cheap aftermarket one from summit racing or jegs, and front mount it. I have been running a b&m style one for quite a few years front mounted with rubber linees and have had 0 issues with it.

I have a different one as well, so I didn't have to deal with it. As for the lights, yeah, they are H1s. Tiny little guys, they are alright - an improvement, but I'd highly recommend getting some Silverstars or PIAA bulbs to throw in.

I have Silverstars in my high beam, and I bought one of the HID kits from LIUSPEED on here. I have had zero issues with them. I just ordered a set of HID kits for an H1 bulb socket, plugged right in and was ready to go!

Hey Nathan, so youre running HID bulbs in there with no problems? I got the same style housing as you did. Did yours have the NO HID/XENON sticker too?

Also, if you are using HID's do you notice the beam pattern look wrong with the projector that it comes with or are you happy with it?

One last question, do you notice the housings get noticeably/dangerously hot with the HIDs on (I was planning on running 4000-5000K heat range)...

Thanks in Advance!

Yeah, I am running HIDs with no issues. I have the 5000k I believe. I do not recall seeing any sticker on there saying "NO HID". That's pretty strange, I've never really felt the housing to check heat output either though. As far as light beam pattern, it's great. Like most other HID's that I've seen with a pretty solid cut-off line. Look here to check out the beam pattern, it's pretty easy to see. Cut-off looks like this - ___/ so that you are not blinding the other drivers, but still illuminating the right-hand side of the road. I'm very happy with them, I'd almost say it's a must with these headlights.

I would run my lights and check to see how hot they are getting, but the car has been down for 2 months and is just now getting back together, so I don't have a battery or anything else plugged-in to check it out.

cool... I may just keep my HID kit and get some H1 bulbs....around the 4300K-5000K range is where Id want to be anyway.

Thanks for your responses.....I hope to have this conversion done before the end of september but Im also side-tracked with vacations and engine building LOL

I didn't use the bulbs that came with mine, I went to the store and got some real ones because I didn't want that to happen.
