Well if you can do it cost effectively i am sure some people will go for it. Its hard to beat the cost of the vw ones though. I am sure some people would like more or a bolt in and go solution.

Cost effective and retrofit dont go well. They would be expensive but perfect. It would take a lot to get that started but is def a possibility.

Ah yep, fair enough.

Love the lights, just thinking of the legality of it.

legality of what the vw headlight housings in an nx? I would tell them if they dont like it try and drive a stock nx in the dark. I am pretty sure you could duct tape 2 decent flashlights on the hood and it would be better than our stock headlights.

I mean there are only a few options for nx headlights.
1. Stock crappy headlights or for a cheap upgrade that will burn out often, silverstars(from my experiences with all of my nissans with 9004 headlights)
2. euro nx headlights somewhat better housings and reflectors so decently better than stock
3. blind everyone on the road with an aftermarket hid kit in the stock housing
4. vw golf projector housing with some decent bulbs
5. piaa high beams, and hid low beams in the vw projector housings
6. some sort of a hid/projector retrofit like bluebomber is talking about. Sounds great but at possibly a high cost.

#5 is what i plan on doing. At least with a projector housing the hid's wont be as blinding for others on the road and should be a hell of alot better than any of our other options.

In the US we can get away with modifying quite a bit besides if you are in a state that has to have emissions testing done on your car.
