I'll talk to the eBay seller and ask him to post up the 4-wire O2 sensor that we need for our cars. Then will post up a link to it

Now just FYI they are Bosch Universal O2 sensors, but I think from another country.

Well the Cat has a Gasket on it, which had a metallic rope that would get attached to the hanger stud (on the same thing the rubber is hanging). Something like that...
If you get the Bosch 4-wire O2 sensor then you don't have to worry about the Cat Ground

Just found out that my o2 sensor is in fact a 4 wire o2 sensor not the three wire as i had assumed(we know how that goes). It is a universal replacement i got a while ago with the oem connector. I went to put on the new one I just purchased and the sleeving was torn so i went to cut it to strip the wires. Well I saw a white wire in the sleeve that looked like it was spliced into the blue one, turns out it wasn't just taped to it. I put a wire on it and put it to a ground, so well see if there are any improvements in the coming week. I reset the ecu so hopefully that'll help. Ill post pics tonight.

Links removed due to eBay seller not being sure if it's the right part number or not.

Yes sir, all you have to do is crimp it to the old harness/wires and your set.

This is the second O2 sensor that I bought from the guy, Crazy fast shipping and great price, really can't complain.

I just wish I didn't buy my 3 wire O2 sensor before hand hehe...

Yep.. I purchased a new $100 OEM Bosch 3-wire O2 sensor last month..

Well, my local guy screwed-up again this week and I just got a refund last night. This morning, I ordered the $30 Ebay one from evalero. Hopefully, it will come fast..

At lunch, Im going to the junkyard to get a 4-wire harness & connector. Thanks Vadium for the ebay info. How did you determine if the ebay sensor was the correct model?

Well the only real way to know that its the right part is by trusting the Seller...

I had no issues with a CEL for it or anything. My ScanGauge picks up when the O2 sensor is in Open/Closed loops, and its been looking fine from there hehe

LOL... I dont trust ebay sellers for exact electronic parts!!

The number should be stamped on the unit! Must be a translation for the stamped O2 number to part number somewhere...

Oh yes I know that much, this one didn't have too many numbers on it etc. One serial number and one model number. I tried looking up both, only model number rendered Google results.

The sites that it found were mainly foreign, but it said Bosch so that kinda helped haha

Need to bring this thread from the dead...

First of all, thanks so much to DC Scotty for highlighting this issue with the SSAC headers, and Vadim for pursuing countermeasures for the O2 sensor (perhaps others are affected by this?)! Thanks to all the others who contributed to the process.

I have just done this mod to my newly completed high compression all-motor setup, and this mod alone will likely save the engine from premature failure (not to mention letting the darn thing pass emissions).

I got my Bosch 15727 sensor from RockAuto, and couldn't be happier with the quality of the splice hardware, and how it all went together. Because I went with a significantly higher gauge for the ground line (routed back to the main tie-in point on the intake manifold), I simply pared down the twist on the ground wire til it just barely fit into the splice connector, and drilled out the body of the splice casing to accept the higher gauge ground wire.

After powering up Conzult on the laptop, I was able to watch the rise and fall of the O2 sensor voltage, and subsequent fuel trimming.

Again, thanks guys! Class A mod!
