Nope, its both...

We have a rainbow of wire colors on the Actual O2 sensors.
With the Universal 15727 O2 sensor, you will be using the Connector Plug from your old sensor.
The wire colors on that old sensor can be one of multiple combinations... And probably will not match the new sensor wires.
Thus, we use wire position rather than wire color to determine signal & heater wires on your old plug.

I will keep that in mind and post a pic when it comes in. I also saw the link on the first page of the Bosch 15727 Oxygen Sensor from Amazon. Is that the best place to order? I entered my car info in the fields and it says that the O2 sensor does not fit my car .

Got mine from Rock Auto, thats the place to go

I finally got around to ordering the Bosch 15727 sensor and.. it's too long.

With the OEM 3-wire sensor on my B13, I have about 10mm clearance between the sensor housing and the fan blades, and about half of that is taken up by the wires coming out of the bottom in a tight bend sideways toward the plug. The Bosch is 10mm longer than the stocker, plus the thicker wires need another 10mm to make the bend towards the plug while clearing the fan.

Just did this, got around to finally hooking the ground up right and seems like the car feels a lot smoother.

i used the bosch pt number 15729 wich according to the people at the place i bought it is the same as the 15727 except with no connector besides its the only one i could find in my city....

Sounds like you are still trying to use OEM fans. The 15727 are the same size as OEM sensor (unless you bought Ebay ones).
You need to purchase slim fans and you will be fine. Plus they move more air.

The OEM sensor came from the dealer, and the Bosch from RockAuto. 15727 is a centimeter longer than the OEM, basically that last piece on the bottom where the wires come out.

OEM on the left, Bosch 15727 on the right

Slimline fans it is.
