DINO oil probably clogged the squirtes up.. I changed to Mobil 1 about 3 years ago but they were probably partually clogged already.. Its amazing that the detergents in the Mobil 1 didnt keep them clean!! Am I wasting money on Mobil 1??
Oil Squirters.. They squirt oil at the top of each cam lobe for lubrication of the lobe, and surrounding parts.. Their is 2 squirters per lobe for each cam, giving you 8 squirt holes on each side. For the Intake Cam, I had a grand total of 3 squirt holes open (one on lobe 3 and both on lobe 4, lobe 1 & 2 was starving and are now pitted/deterioated from heat buildup). For the Exhaust Cam, I had a grand total of 2 open squirt holes (one on Lobe 2 and one on Lobe 3; amazingly no damage but normal wear). You should change the Oil Squirters every 100k miles (major tuneup). I didnt..
Yes... I know it has nothing to do with it... But, I didnt want to gunkup another O2 sensor with possible exhaust crap until I fix the problems...
I will reinstall once done with my other repairs...

Yep, I forgot about your setup.. But on the SR20DE with EGR blockoff, I thought the ECU would trigger a CEL if you removed the EGR/Canister solenoid. How did you get around it?
Took a look at your build and YES, you do have a very very nice build... Making me thnk I should follow your lead!
