I've been busy at work. The N/A edition is actually taking a bit of priority right now as I have to edit each diagram in that section to reflect a new restrictor I found.

I have a deadline for the turbo edition though, so I will be getting to it very soon.

I bought the exhaust ventilation kit a while back, finally got around to welding it on. It came at about a 45* angle that's pointed slightly up (to clear the cross member). Started the car up, no vacuum just gasses coming out of it .

I don't have much space to install it, cross member in the way on one side, the other side has a wideband bung

With the one-way valve attached, you should get nothing coming out of it, ever. =/
And at medium and high exhaust speeds you should get a vacuum.

Really? So at idle it's supposed to not produce vacuum? Maybe it was working afterall. I should have felt the air and had someone rev up the engine then .

Now I don't feel like making another hole in the downpipe.

The vacuum it creates is directly proportional the exhaust speed going through the pipe. Slow exhaust speed = no vacuum. Highest exhaust speed = strongest vacuum.

Alright I might take the leadpipe down again to weld some hangers and do this then

Please! I'm going to switch to blow-through soon, so it'd come in mighty handy

you guys ever not vent the crankcase?? I was at the track last saturday and rerouted the catch can back into the "t" on the valvecover just to hold it up out of the way for a sec and forgot to put it back on the intake...wow, what a scare. Car smoked all the way down the track...thought I definitely broke something.

I did want to update on my original post though. I used the diagram that I posted and I have been filling up the catch can fairly quickly. A couple times it got full enough that I was sucking oil into the turbo through the catch can. It might be better to attach the intake to the top of the catch can and put the side barb on the can to the crankcase in case it wants to drain into the crankcase at all.
