I'm talking N/A as I have no plans to boost the RR yet.

Maybe this doesnt belong here, but i saw a video of S4's at idle and compared to my BC stage 2's and dear god it sounds like I have stock cams. I did notice a huge increase in power, but why do the S4's lope so heavly compared to the BC S2's?

The extra duration on the S4 I would guess

Overlap.

The centerlines on the two cams are different. The BCs used factory centerlines and have factory sound at idle.

Feed the JWT some more RPM and it sounds pretty nice.

hmm i know everyone says s4 are best for turbo but has there been any comparisons with the bc's to prove they are better? Just wondering if I went with the wrong cams :/

Not that I know of but more lift under the same duration makes more powah, more torque, and smoother idle.

I know you were talking about S4s.

I have used BC Stage 2s and I am using JWT S3 right now. For putzing around town, the S3s are more enjoyable. For top end, the BCs knocked it out of the park. If the S4s are similar to the BC stage 2s, awesome.

Well, if I can find some motivation and time over the next week or two, I will be swapping my '01 B15 RR intake cam (from spare motor) into my '01 G20t. I think the extra 8* of duration will turn the P11 into a bonafide rocketship!!

I will report back whether or not the P11 becomes scary fast.

Oh awesome!!!! If I had some I would do a swap just to compare (and do virtual dynos of course )

Probably just going to be butt dyno for me because of stock ECU and all. Unless, you know of a cheap option (OBD port plug-in) that is compatible with these silly 32-bit ECU's??
