I do not agree with the S-afc II having little or no value just because it is on NA.

I had substantial increases in throttle response, tuning, fuel economy, and the overall performance of the engine increased marginally over the entire power band.

It also removed the shuddering the car used to do when at low rpms.

Tuned with a wideband o2 sensor and a dyno, painless and worth it IMO.

When you factor in a wideband and dyno time, it still falls in the little per-dollar category.

OK so looking over things, maybe I need a "totally worthless" category and a "good performance but $$$" category.

Plus this is for newbs and a newb will want to dink around with an SAFC themselves and get 20hp.

And usually removing all your EGR and a tuneup will get rid of any hesitation/shuddering. That has worked for me on several of my older B13s.

Or the fact that a CalumSult basic is dirt cheap and can do a better job at tuning....

Never mind the realtime ecu....

I know the tune Im running in the NX right now, on a basic board, gave me 10hp almost everywhere under the curve. 10hp for under 200 dollars including dyno time. On a motor without a header or exhaust, just a WAI and POP. Personally i call that bang for the buck
