bump, dont mean to bump this up..but I need some help finding what motors I have. I have a p11 and purchased a DET motor about 2 years ago(motor is the car already for a year). The head has 53J 1L. Now, I got lucky and the motor came with a gtir t28 turbo and the company said its a avenir motor and did come with a silver VC. The other code is the motor in my sentra se-r. Its 53J 4L, no egr, highport, and I just bought this car with the motor and the last owner doesn't know about engines very well, but I'm changing the axles on it and saw the block has been drilled and tapped and has a bolt in it right now. So, I've done research and those 2 head codes are not answered anywhere I looked. I did saw a thread somewhere from the old forum saying that the 53J 1L is 10:1, but that motor came turbo'd with all the lines in stock locations and purple injectors. So, if anyone found out, let me know about those 2 head codes. thanks!

The motor in the se-r? Also just noticed on the list that a W10 motor is 9R when knowing my det motor is a w10 but like I said, the head code is 1L and can't be too sure since it came with a t28. But the turbo manifold is an avenir cause it has the hump like the avenir manifold does. And does have ribs on the head, but not the motor in the se-r. I know the motor is really turbo originally cause of the intake manifold, came with stock recirc and hoses for intake. Another thing is the motor came with new hks spark plugs, which told me someone raced it especially with not the original turbo. It did have an auto tranny flywheel and from research most avenirs are automatics.

53j 3r gold with black channel. Flat pistons, no egr, high port. Compression unknown. Sounds just like the 53j 2l. Anyone know?

Bought a 93 se-r with not the original sr20 it's a highport 53j 9L anybody???
