hello Ben I'm planning to do on 2nd to last for DE... though... I just notice on my stock intake. that there is 2 vaccum hose... the one is what you call the fire supressor. and the other is at the back. is there a way I can eliminate those two?.. before I install a CAI. thanks.

So, should removing the VC-Intake hose and adding a breather valve to the VC make the car stall rolling to stop signs?

I only removed it because there was so much dirt&oil flowing through this hose.. Surely this can't be my idle issue culprit? I'd say this would only make the intake cleaner?

It probably does not have anything to do with your idle issues, but I would fix it anyway.

I suggest you re-word your question so I can understand what you're getting on about.

When using the exhaust system evac route, should the catch can be a sealed or should it still have a breather filter on it? I'm guessing sealed but need confirmation please.

Also, a lot of catch cans are simply empty chambers. Should it be baffled or does it not make a difference?

thanks

The rear hose is for the idle control valve, so it can't be removed.
