gtir rear's are similar to jdm nx rotors with a reduced hat height of 33mm gtir vs 45mm for jdm nx.
caliper's are p10 g20 rear's swapped sides (left on right, and right on left,) with a narrower pad carrier to match the reduced rotor hat height.

would be the same thing as p10 g20 calipers with jdm nx rear rotors

so it should be an upgrade from the B13 SE-R stock ones right?
I bought them for cheap with discs and pads from a friend that installed 240sx rear brakes on his car

Hi everyone,
I've got a B14 and am looking to upgrade my front brakes, but I want to keep my unsprung weight minimized. I've ruled out the NX2K/AD22 setup - too heavy. My fall back is an 11 inch FastBrakes setup, but its pretty pricey, but if I can't find another solution, I'll bite the bullet.

What do you guys think about running a B13/AD18 setup on a B14. It looks to be a beefier setup than the B14:
B13 OEM Rotor Size: 250 x 18 mm
B14 OEM Rotor Size: 234 x 7 mm
The calipers look beefier as well

The B13 setup is less than 2 lbs heavier than the B14 and its 7 lbs lighter than the AD22 setup. What do you guys think about running this setup with upgraded pads? The car is my daily driver and I'm just trying to make it as fun as possible. I'm not going to race or autocross the car, but I'd like to think that, one day, I'll take it to the track (whether that actually happens or not is another story).

B13 calipers have smaller piston bore size (48mm) so that is surely a downgrade. The B14 caliper and AD22VF calipers both share 54mm pistons so they can have similar braking qualities. The AD22VF have a larger sweep area which will make them superior along with a thicker, more heat-resisting rotor width.

The rotors are the same on the front of a B13 and B14 SE-R. 18mm thick.

Since you do not want to stomach the extra weight in upgrading to the AD22VF caliper/rotors combo, you should stick with your B14 brakes and just get good quality rotors and pads.

PowerSlot rotors and Carbotech brake pads would make it surely fun.

Class is out.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll probably just end up going that route.

Does anybody know if the rear spindles from a P10 will fit a B13? I recall reading about P10 brakes being fitted onto a B13 but I can't find the thread any more. All I came up with is this:

Infiniti G20 Rear Brake upgrade for a 94 Sentra E (drum to disc) - Nissan Forums: Nissan Forum

Doesn't say what spindles they used, can someone clarify?

Thanks.

B14 OEM Rotor Size: 234 x 7 mm
NX2000 OEM Rotor Size: 257 x 26mm(ABS) or 250 x 18mm(no ABS)

Clearly, there's quite a difference.
That's a little lead into the next section, which is....

I have a 1992 NX2000 without ABS. I just had the front brakes replaced and it took them four times to order the correct rotors (They also wanted to argue with me that there are 'E' and 'XE' model NX2000's... They were so confused that they gave me a crew-cab F-150 4x4 free for 2 days with full coverage while they sorted out my car.). I was told the rotors that ended up fitting were 257mm. Is the info on this page wrong or is my car a freak?

I could be wrong. I got the info from a good site, but they could be wrong as well.

My B14 FSM states the rotors as...

FRONTS: 247mm x 18mm (both sizes for ABS or non-ABS)

REARS: 234mm x 7mm (both sizes for ABS or non-ABS)

All NX 2000's have the same fronts I thought. Some have different rears?

The NX 1600 has the B13 front brakes I thought as well. Someone please correct me on the NX mumbo-jumbo.

How many B13 peps have replaced all their calipers? I guess it would be a good idea since they are 20 years old now but has anyone also ran the Sentra Brembos on a b13 looks kind of interesting.
