Car: 1995 200SX SE-R
Suspension: KYB AGX and Hypercoils
Wheels: Stock B14 SE-R wheels
Brand: Yokohama
Model: S.drive
Size: 195/55-15
Weight: 21 lbs. per tire
Use: Summer tire for DD transportation
Life: 300 AA A
Cost: $82 per tire

Review: Great tires, stiff sidewall, good handling, great grip when it is warm out. I ran these through Nov and a few days into Dec. and they became horribly useless as most summer tires should. I like them, they are cheap and work great.

Review: Best street tire I have ever owned. They hooked up great when the car was running a fully bolted VE with Cams. They are very good in wet and hot conditions. After driving ~9 months on them they were about 1/2 way worn (est. 15k miles). I boosted the car and 3 months later they have about 5% tread left (est. 4k miles).

@nickr a fire sale would suit me perfectly. I don't autocross, my current tires are still in good shape, and I can wait on this for 90 days or so.

I'm pretty sure I would be happy with either of the tires I named, Dunlop or Toyo, and I bet the RE11A would be pretty close.

I am just looking for excellent tires for sunny day backroads therapy sessions, and my once every couple years road-course excursion in the beginner group at a Convention. In either case I could get hit with rain, so the tire has to be fully capable of dealing with that too.

Sweet video.

Thanks for the heads up on the sale, I'll keep an eye out.
