Review: Good street tire, very behaved. Kept me sort of low key. On a less powerful car these would have been even better. They were not up to holding 450whp in the sizes I used. You can put the autox/track/street into one section really. If a tire falls into those, it can be used on the street, but might not appreciate all types of weather as good as others.

Fantastic tire for autox. Available in a good amount of sizes. They don't like wet or cold days for racing, and wet for the street. Amazing grip and they are the cheapest street tire made for street tire classes in autox. We run these on my parents Miata for autox.

Setup: 91 SE-R, AGX/RM, 15x7s. Same Miata as above.

I used these on my B13 for the 2 weeks it was running. My parents are using these for their street tires. Fantastic for DD tires. Also available in tons of sizes.

Review: I got them because I pretty much always call Tire Rack. Never had any issues with Tire Rack, terrific knowledgeable service, tons of information on all the tires they sell, both professional reviews and customer reviews, and my mechanics shop is one of their "Approved Installers." The Yokohama S.Drive (replacement for the ES100's) was unavailable/backordered.

Excellent in the wet, better than the Yokohama ES100's when it is raining. Quiet, well behaved. My previous "best" tires were in fact the ES100's, so I don't have much experience with "excellent/expensive" tires.

They did well on the Roebling Road race course. Although I have no other experience on a track, that was my first track-day ever, so I was Captain Slow. No chunking or ugliness after getting beat to death. They suffered no ill effects.

However, now I have "tire smear." Mike and the boys did an alignment, then another alignment, then rechecked everything, then rotated the tires around, then did another alignment.....

Conclusion? "Tire smear." The internal treads are off somehow. Causing a pull that is due to the tires, not the alignment nor the vehicle itself.

There was no issues with the alignment when the vehicle was completed (rebuilt/restored). No issues on the way out to Savannah (1,000+ miles) nor during the track day, or on the way back.

This issue occurred a few thousand miles after Roebling Road.

I'm happy with how the ZR1's have performed except for the tire smear. Which makes me want to change them...right now.

Review: The Proxes 4 is an all-season, M&S rated, ultra-high performance tire designed primarily for plus-fitment applications on sport compact cars, sports sedans, and coupes. A wide range sizes are available with V and W speed ratings.

Honestly, these tires didn't live up to their expectation as being "All Season Ultra High Performance" tires. They held decent traction while N/A, but when I first boosted the car (only making ~180 tired whp), they held NO traction in second and part of third. In wet weather, they lose traction easily, no matter the speed. In dry weather, they do grip nicely, but not in spirited driving. Buyer beware.

Sure, well this tires actually work great on both wet and dry conditions, especially in my country, for daily "regular" use they are great and also when they warm up they have great grip.

These are summer tires only my experiance in wet condition is not so good .
run reasonable camber with these if not tire will wear fast !

These handle better in the rain due to the center channel .

My 91 handdles with alittle bit of oversteer (like my rear tight )
The parada spec's are a bit noisy on the highway due to tread design but the s-drives are quiet and grip pretty good .
Both tires I've super good luck with .I would recomend the s-drive for more daily/weekend auto-x .the parada's would recomend for more weekend auto-x'ing.

Review: SECHS! I'm so glad I got these tires! DiscountTireDirect was SUPER fast in shipping them. Ordered Monday, and at the house Wednesday via UPS Ground They are SO MUCH BETTER than the Toyo Proxes 4's in EVERY essence of the word, awesome. They hold 300wtq and 400whp like a dream. I PURPOSELY tried to break them free in 2nd and 3rd gear, and they ONLY broke in the top of second, and grabbed like a gorilla glue in 3rd. I haven't put more than 30 miles on them just yet, so we'll see how well they react to my driving as they age a bit.
