Blizzaks are great.... for the first year. Most over-rated tire in my opinion. they're a 50/50 tire, meaning winter tire on the top layer and all season on the bottom layer. Plus they're expensive for what they are. Look at Dunlop Graspic, Firestone Winterforce (cops have these which should say something i guess), or michelin x-ice. Blizzaks are very good but in the long run, there are better choices out there. Mi dos centavos

Review: The tires worked great up until they started wearing so quick.... Would never recommend these tires to anybody... They lasted 10 months and 13k miles...

I followed the template

I rotate my tires every 7,500 miles and check tire pressures at least once every two weeks....and this is the past x number of years.

All of these tires were used in the spirit of mostly daily driving, aggressive pushing of the tires is done in turns and I launch the car on occasion when I can.

BFGoodrich tires are great. I love them. (Traction T/A all-season were superb. G-force Sport summers were good in dry and wet, NO WINTER.) BFG just recently launched a new tire in 205/50-15 called... G-Force Super Sport A/S and I want to buy them next!

Goodyears are junk. I just hate Goodyear tires. Both sets I have tried would squeal loudly in turns that I was turning quickly in and I hate that. No matter what suspension adjustments or tire pressure adjustments I made would reduce or get rid of the squeal. Annoying. First set was Goodyear Eagle GT-HR 205/50-15. Second set is my current set of tires, which is 195/55R-15 Goodyear Eagle GT. I have tried them twice and been upset with them both times. Never again.

Firestones are meh. I had Firehawks on my old 200SX and they did a fair job.

Besides buying the summer only tire and using them through not one, but two winters (idiotic move and supremely dangerous by the way) the BFG's have been great tires for me.

Looking for more tires on Tirerack.com and there are only three tire choices under All-Season 205/50-15. Two versions of crappy Kumho's and one BFG. The BFG tires get what I believe to be sub-par ratings and I do not want crappy tires, again! (Goodyears are junk)

195/55-15 offers way more tire selection under all-season flavor and I really want to try Michelin tires and they are $70 back on a set of four right now. I may purchase those....or BFG's or General tires. I got General Tires for my dad's D22 frontier and they are great tires. I am very pleased with how well they work in all sorts of weather.

On Discounttiredirect.com , They offer more tires in 205/50-15 , but I do not like any of the brands. Falken, Kumho, Hankook, Dunlop are brands I do not wish to try.

Looks like I will be forced to stay with 195/55-15 with All-Season tires from now on unless more companies get there head out of their butts!

So far, best tires I have ever used for daily driving intents and purposes.

UPDATE: At 4/32" these tires are pretty worthless in the rain and cold weather conditions. I would say it is borderline stupid to be driving on them when it is winter time and they are this worn. On the good side, I got pretty good mileage out of them and two solid years of service in the DD B14 from these tires. The wear rate was damn near perfectly even at 7,500 mile rotations and keeping the tire pressures monitored helped extend the life of these as much as I could. Overall, I was happy with them but no where near my good ol' BFG Traction T/A tires. I am switching to two sets of wheels next time and running dedicated winter and summer tires.
