Yes, and no. ACL actually has two different sizes. They have the STD (Standard), and they have oversize. If your crank has been cleaned up due to prior surface damage by bearing wear, ACL will sell you the oversized bearings. If your crank has never been re-turned for any reason, the STD will work fine. They also have three different sets of bearings. OEM replacements would be Duraglide series for the Nissan motors, and Aftermarket (Higher grade Equivelent) would be Race series. They also make Aluglide bearings, which are rather new (though old technology) to the market. Something to do with global awareness and lead free design blah blah blah. You wouldn't want to rebuild a motor with them, that much I'm sure

Nissan are so anal in production because they have to take into account their tolerances of a mass produced engine may be wrong.
ACL's std grade covers i think grade 1-3 at the very least. The it jumps up a fair wack.
ACL's STD grade covers 0-3, correct. Technically, though, Nissan isn't NEARLY as anal as Honda is when it comes to being anal with production
Ask any Honda owner why he uses 10w30 as gear oil in his transmission, and it doesn't break on him with 500whp.
