Thread: The Best Spark Plug Out There

I think my Bosch plugs just died, because I got pretty crappy highway MPG yesterday...

^Why don't you run NGK? The price and results is FTW.

I do, but all of the times I have used Bosch's I've experienced significantly bigger MPG's in the city and mixed driving, not really highway driving though.

^What are the MPG differences? I need to know. I still wouldn't run Bosch. I don't think it's enough to make a different. These plugs ran like trash in my GA16DE. I put NGK's in a saved myself a headache.

im with you, it seems like the nissans love the ngks my gf had bosch;s in her b14 and it was runin badly with them, i switched them out for ngk and there was a noticeable difference in the way the car ran with the ngk's

i feel the ngk's are pretty durable too i have fouled out my 7e's few times now, and i just pull thm spray them withcrb cleaner and throw them back in and they run great i donno lol

I've gotten 5-7 MPG more on the Bosch +2's. Which is really weird!

Plugs I've tried:
NGK Vpower BKR6E-11's
NGK BKR6E's - OEM ones from Courtesyparts.com
NGK BK5IEX-11 - Iridiums with the sonic hole in them.

Just fueled up, got 21 MPG for 50% city 50% highway, and seems like the Bosch +2's are shot. If so then it makes sense, because I've driven about 20k miles on them.

I'm gonna try side gapping on one of my extra NGK plug sets

Hey wat about the ngk platinum plugs with heat range 6? Are those any good?
