I didnt know hypercoils were avaliable in the 10" coil....hmm....

And by looking at the first page in this thread, Id figure that the other 3 springs were on the avoid at all costs list.

Looking through the summit racing site Ive found coil springs like this:

a 400 lb 10" coil spring, although the quality is an unknown, and it doesnt speak to response, I'd figure they're would be better springs as alternatives than what we have as alternatives..I dunno, maybe the brains just being dumb today.

You are confusing direct replacement B13 platform-specific springs with coil-over springs.

Direct Replacement B13 springs replace your factory springs. Nothing else changes (except, hopefully, your struts get upgraded).

Coil-over springs are a universal spring. Can be used with any coilover on the market. They come in various lengths, and strengths measured in pound/feet.

As veilside pointed out, you can use any quality manufacturer for your coilover springs.

Eibach makes great coilover springs.

Eibach did NOT do any research or development on their direct replacement platform-specific springs for a B13.

Yes it does thanks. I think I should have mentioned that I was initially talking about the csk's with gc coilovers application wise. From the first page posts I didn't rewalize that the statement about eibachs only applied to the direct replacement.

Has it been explicitly mentioned about the possible addition in suspension travel (front) using GC camber plates?

Albeit for an E30, and comparison with another camber plate, the author does state that the length of the second setup is close to the stock suspension height.

Another CSK point: when doing the rears on a B13, (using GC/koni adjustable sleeves) What length are you shooting for using the spec V insert? Say you were using a front housing, would you be trying to match the overall length of the oem b13 rear strut? Same if using a rear housing?
