That's a choice you can make, my friend. And that would be "peace of mind," not "piece of mine."

that fixaflat goo pisses off the tire guys though. the goo sticks to the wheel and makes it a pain to mount tires on that wheel.

So far, my car has no sunroof, no abs. I removed all a/c items in the bay and behind the dash, i have no cd player, No front bumper support, no spare tire and jack, nothing in the engine bay that isnt needed is removed, gutted front bumper, and probably the biggest saving is no stock exhaust, i have the stock exhaust laying at my house, i should weigh it sometime to see what it weighs, i guess this would only apply to turbo guys running open downpipe. i run mine that way 24 7 so it makes more power and saves alot of weight, im guessing the stock exhaust is in the neighborhood of 60lbs or so.

I eventually want to get the hawker 9lb battery to replace my 40lb duralast battery, and a cf hood to save another 30lbs, and remove the rear bumper support for another 25lbs and then on the days i go to the track remove the rear seats and passenger seat for an additional 40lbs. I think with all of that i should be around the 2000lb range.
