Thread: Blew my sub. Thanks to fools.

If the sub is DVC w/ 4ohms/coil and the amp is 2-ohm stable in mono, do the following:

(+) out from amp to (+) #1
(-) out from #1 to (+) #2
(-) out from #2 to (-) amp

Distortion kills a speaker more than supplying too much power.

Make sure you adjust your amp accordingly, cause, chances are, even with the P3 sub, you can still blow that. The gain shouldn't really be above 50%, distortion, please don't use that as a volume! (along with any bass boost or stuff like that found on the amp)

The P3 sounds very good, crisp and clear. Just need a tad larger amp for it.

yeah it is!! Rockford did a great job tuning the package...
