Ill be honest, I hate anything that has to do with electricity or wiring. I was told that these were plug and play, if it ends up being otherwise than Im just going to yank them and sit in the box.

Like I said in the original post, the first time i had it set up like it is, and i believe it is just the high beam after reading. When I changed the ground the lights didnt work whatsoever. I may play with the ground again after I get out of the Lab today. But as far as i know, the ground that i used besides the negative terminal is the ground for the original headlights, which is right behind the drivers side headlight on the chassis next to the battery tray. The passenger side headlight ground was grounded to another factory ground on the passenger inner fender by the coolant reservoir.

It has to be the wiring difference between 9004 plugs and 9007 plugs.

so you need to get a different wiring harness, male and female end. Then wiring them up in different combinations until it all works fine.

Here is a an example diagram:

man jimmy if you want we can just swap you out for a single beam and not mess with the hi lo moving stuff.

that or you can find one saturday and have one of your buds do it.

if they are really good at what they do it should only take them 30 min at most.

Well, odd enough, i literally jsut got home from work. parked the car and figured ahh helll see if they work.

Amazingly, everything is working perfect. Lo beams work fine, the high beam indicator is not luminated whatsoever, and now i also have high beams. So.... i honestly dont know what to think. all i know is, its working!

Holy crap haha nice!

I would say maybe it took the ECU a bit to get used to it, but I doubt the ECU deals with lighting etc.

Either way congrats

well heres my theory. i had the battery out of the car for over 4 hours yesterday, and from what i understand these will not function properly if the battery isnt in full spec. after driving around today it probably just got charged back and it is working. or something with the relay and ballasts finally clicked. i hope im not jinxing myself but i sat there and played with them making sure it wasnt just a fluke this afternoon. im gonna go out when it gets dark and adjust the beam pattern.
