Second alternator in 3 months! HELP PLEASE!
I'm soooo fncking pissed at my car!!!! I have never wanted to rip out the electronics and just start over.
I have replaced my alternator twice in 3 months!!!! One was from a part store and the other was a Nissan. Now I have gone threw 3 alternators in my NX's lifetime...and the original died shortly after I installed the fan switch in my car. All I did was tap into the wire coming from the relay box to a switch inside the cabin.Soldered a diode and all connections.It switches on and off. Works great. Then about a month later it died....thinking it was the old age. Then installed the new one....that one died 2 months later(tonight)
So what do I do? I cant cut my fan switch because my car will overheat. And I dont want be replacing alternators every couple of months.
Anyone with this problem? Or a solution?
