Thread: B15 Spec-v Cluster on a B14

Has anyone put the Spec-V cluster on a B14 sentra? If so, are there any modifications such as rewire or speed sensor changes? I have a 99 sentra SE with sr20ve engine and sr20de tranny.

not impossible but i never seen this done before.

What you are going to have to do is get a wiring schematic from the B15 and the harness pigtails for the cluster. Than you have to splice the wires in where they belong and hope it works. I am not sure if the speed sensor is different making the speedo not read the correct speed. I am sure it could be done but i have no idea if the signals from your sensors will be interperated the same.

I have no idea why you'd want a cluster that has a redline of 6500...

They are entirely different in shape, your first problem is going to be fitment before you can even think about wiring it up.

guess if what you like are the looks of it, you're better off trying to make custom face plates for the gauges

Yeah I was thinking about getting this gauge I saw on ebay.

But then again I saw this cool color changing led light gauges and I emailed the guy if he has one for b14's and he said he'd make a prototype for us. I just need to bring my car in to him for 2 hours. I still don't know how much he's going to charge for the setup since it will be a prototype for the b14's. Hopefully enough people will want to buy and we can get a deal. If not then I may be the only one with these color changing gauges if he builds it for me.

they look great on the vid.. hopefully you can arrange something for b13's as well!!!

I replaced my bulbs in the cluster with white LEDs and man it looks so sweet at night. Ill get some pics up if anyone wants.
