Thread: Double Din Headunits??

So Ive been looking to upgrade my factory double din radio. CDs skip all the time, and after a while it gets hot and CDs just wont play anymore. I DONT want a single din head unit. Just want to keep a stockish look and replace my stock double din for a better one.

Im not looking into something crazy. I dont need a DVD player or one of those fancy shmancy touchscreens. After all.... Its just going into a Sentra. Something simple with either a USB, SD card slot, or Ipod connections would be cool since I want to do away with carrying CDs in the car (WeIgHt ReDuCtIoN yO!)

Any opinions are appreciated.

So I found these two that I like (the clarion is ugly but I like the features on it) Anyone seen or run these in their cars?

I think the double DIN may give it the a more OEM-ish sleek look, it's what I wanted at first, but when it came down to it there was just so much more available as a single DIN. Just make a list of what you want out of a headunit, see what's available, and make your pick!
