The wiring from the switch goes to the headlights. The power for the switch comes from the fuse box.
The wiring from the switch goes into a bundle of wires that goes through the firewall and between the fender and inner fender then brakes off to go to driver side lights then continues through the frame over the radiator to the passenger side lights. I hope this helps.

It does help thank you but now I'm having a problem with the inside where it goes into the firewall I can't seem to fallow it to where the wires go to unhook them to pull the wires throug the firewall.if you have pics of the wires from the inside that. Weds to be unhooked that would be awesome for if anyone else has them I would really appreciate it.thanks again for the info

I did all that I'm having trouble inside the car under the dash where it all connects with the angle and all the other wires in the way I can't really get a good look at where the wires connect so I can unplug them and pull them outside

Trace it back from the steering wheel switch.

I would pull the dash and trace it back from the steering column where it connects to the headlight switch. Takes about 20-30mins if you have help.
