if you think about the handling dynamics of the car after loading the furthest corner with extra weight, it is quite relevant. It looks like you are going for better audio fidelity, which is completely fine, the sub placement is optimal for that. I in no way meant to say "hey that sucks" as that is the furthest thing from the truth, in fact, it looks quite nice and the carpet choice is spot on. its just the corner that makes me cringe as its "not my thing" due to the weight distribution as a result.

To each their own, and I'd like to see the final results once you have everything tidied up and installed. Nice sub, what amp are you going to run on it? Also, what is the internal volume of the box? I see that you modified the design after stating .7cuft

Battery is on the other side so weight isn't as much of an issue, minus one side add to the other, box balances it out.

Other side of the trunk I mean. Amp is a matched infinity 330 and the box is sealed, so .7 cu ft is all it needs and for sure is at least that.
