Thread: battery and brake light with speed sensor code on all the time

Good morning everyone. I have been having this problem for years and trying to finally figure out what can this be.when I changed my second alternator this light has been on and code has been triggered.the alternator burrned out After revving out of the snow one Christmas night.since then alt charges fine but light is still on.I recently swapped over to a oem alternator and have this same problem. Could this possibly be a cluster problem? Only reason I say this is because it would flicker like a bad connection. And if I tighten the screws in the back of the cluster it would stop for a while.but come back along with speed sensor code eventually. Now I tighten them and they do not go off anymore.alt still good but code and light is still there.used different ecu and still same code with lights battery and brake on.has anyone had this problem before.appreciate any info on this.thanks in advance

Cool.I actually got alt tssted and it was chargi g perfect so I'm leaning towards a cluster problem
