B13 Antenna
Quick question guys, going to put aftermarket head unit in the 92 B13, i assume its got that double antenna [fender and back window] cause the cable is 2 prong. I gotta convert to single prong obviously so my question is should I get one that retains the diversity or not? Will non just eliminate the rear one? Here's 2 i was looking at

This one i assume is Non Diversity

This one says it retains diversity but I'm confused since there is 3 ends. To retain it, would i need to have another male antenna end to fit in that extra female end [middle end in the picture] on the adapter?

Only one antenna in the car regardless of the plug in the dash. I like the short rubber style. I need to replace mine it finally broke.

So i should go with the first one? I thought i read that 92-94 have 2 antennas, fender and one at the top of the back window or something....all i know is the antenna plug [one wire] but 2 prong and i've only seen one giant prong style on the back of aftermarket head units. Again, i assume option one then is what i want since theres no worries about a "diversity" issue, correct?

Wait so you are saying there are 2 antennas? My question is about the cable that lets diversity work, it looks like it has 3 ends in the picture. One goes on the double prong tip in the car then the other end obviously into the head unit, but what is that other female end for?

Neither my 92 or 94 se-r had the dual pin plug that requires the adapter. I would pull the radio and see which antenna plug is in the dash.

I did pull it, thats why im asking lol. I even looked on the back of the headunit (the original tape deck player) and the plug on the back calls for the 2 prong.

Was the original head unit in your car when you looked? If not, perhaps someone already had changed it?

my 94 had the original antenna and head unit in it. my 92 has been changed. I can tell you many se-r have that plug but its only a adapter so it fits the radio. I would look further down the plug to ensure the two pin plug is not plugged into a normal antenna cable further down. If its not then you have a antenna in the rear window and will need the correct adapter. I have seen nissans come both ways.

Heres a picture of the radio situation. It looks a little confusing, maybe someone and help me with whats going on lol. I circled the antenna there in white, you can see the 2 prongs. I'll have to double check to see if there is an adapter though.

ALSO
You can see below someone tapped 2 wires into the fog light harness and connected to the hazard light...i have no idea why, doesnt seem like it should be like that? I need new Fog lights as mine are currently busted so I dunno if they work (altho the little light on the button illuminates when pushed) but i know my hazards arent currently working, but my turn signals do....that button illuminates when i turn the dimmer lights on, but nothing happens when i push it. Fuses seem fine
