help w/ battery relocation!! Im lost!!
Hey how you doing guys?
First of all I wanna say that I love the forum!! Ive gotten so many answers from here. It is amazing, and the people do know what they're talking about!!
I'm having some trouble, and hope you guys can help me out!! I have a 01 roller rocker sr20 sentra!! I relocated the battery behind the passenger seat. Everything was nice, untill the fuse from the dist. block to the starter kept blowing up! Ok no big deal, i went and got me a non fused dist. block! was working great, until one morning the starter was completely dead, like fried! I install a new starter, and same thing. car did nothing when I turned the key. So i went ahead and return the battery to original postion, and like magic the car turned on (w/ new starter) ! I wanna know what i did wrong!? :/ !!!
the setup was::::: gauge 2 cable from battery to dist block, then from dist block to starter/fuse box.
gauge 4 cable from (-) grounded on passenger bottom bolt!!!
Id really appreciate it if you guys can guide me on this! thanks!!
ohh and stock battery!!
