Just confirm it by connecting the wires direct. It doesn't seem like that fuse is bad. If it was the fuse then you might be better off buying an 80amp breaker

The fuse in the picture looks good, unless it is broken at the end caps. Only a resistance check will tell you for sure.

trying to get my stereo to work but since i cant find that exact fuse as shown in the pic. i'm not sure if its THAT fuse or some other electrical problem that is causing my stereo not to work.

so i was trying to find out if may be i can use the fuse in the link provided instead of the one shown in the pic above.

That fuse isn't blown. Assuming you don't have a test meter just put it in any fuse holder in a known working circuit and try it quick, and don't forget to take it out.

its an aftermarket one , Sony CDX gt510.

i've got a Q, the fuse box under the dash, the only thing i have to test a fuse is a needle test light , where can i hook up the clip ? i've tried the different spots on the door including hindges and yes i could just use plyers but i feel like imma break them if i pull on a fuse too hard .

its night time so may be tomorrow i'll take the screws off the radio and see about the fuse in the back.

how the wire looks like . 8 gauge i believe.

You might want to try hooking that to the other battery terminal.

Correct, if you want power. That cable needs to be on the positive terminal.
