That harness is made up of smaller, pre-wired bits used in multiple applications. A very common manufacturing practice.

Lol I wondered the same shit when I tore into the harnesses in my car. Underdash harness is loaded with this shit, well it was loaded.

I deleted one of the fuse boxes also. I'm actually running the alternator harness, starter, and battery in the area where all that AC/Heater BS is at. I'm also relocating the remaining fusebox and relay box to the same area.

Once u release those boxes the wiring frees up a lot. Make sure the single wire from the starter still runs to your ignition switch. I got too cut happy lol.

thats factory mine was teh same way, i rewired all my alternator/fusebox power with 2 and 4 awg wire, made a substantial difference
