I removed my battery & starter harness itself and simply that buy running new wires to the desired location of the battery . For the fusible link i installed a circuit breaker.

This is something I plan to do in the near future as well. I plan to redo the bay harness, ECU harness, and dash harness. I want to put all necessary relays in the glove compartment, and mount my cruise assembly under the dash. This will be a hell of a job for sure.

A diagram like this for a 1991 B13 would be great, I looked in the FSM but couldn't find one. What FSM did you find this one in?

I took screen shots of the FSM and pasted them together using Snag It Editor.

The last pages in the FSMs with the whole harness layed out is a good reference for this as well. I relocated the under hood fuse box and relays to the glove box. Also run the wires for each front corner out each side, so no wires cross the rad support. I ended up combining the engine bay harness and dash harness and in the end i could have removed the SMJ which i may do at a later time. This will get rid of a lot of wires back tracing, but i was in a little time crunch so i left it as is.

Its not a fun task but to me is the most rewarding since it cleans the whole car up.

Exactly what I did. The only connectors I have on the chassis harness are the lights and rad plugs. Everything else runs thru the area in the behind the glove box - relay box, fuse box, alternator & starter plugs.

I de-pinned the relay holders and pulled the cables through the rubber seal behind the drivers wheel. However, I don't have the slightest idea of how to get the fuse box back through that seal. How did you guys manage to do it?

You have to pull the dash to access the SMJ (connector that connects the chassis harness to the dash harness). The SMJ comes out through the big rubber grommet.
