Thread: in the market for a good car alarm for my b13

i think i made up my mind on this kit seams like a good bang for the buck what do you guys think?? this is going in a B13. what would be good door lock actuators to get? this is my first time DIY alarm install i would be more than happy to make a detailed write up i just want to be headed toward the right direction thanks guys

I didn't look to much into the specs, but check out viper/clifford. Also prior to getting your alarm check out Amazon they have pretty good prices. Another thing you may want to look into is extra sensors that your alarm may not come with. Glass break, tilt, proxy ext...

python, viper and several other alarms are all made by dei. Dei makes door lock motors that work good and so does metra. If this is your first diy make sure to read the instructions and use the cd that comes with the kit. Most of your questions can be answered from the cd.

Hi guys, can you recommend me some kind of multifrequency car alarms? Cops advised me to use this one to protect my car from code grabbers. Alarm has to have a couple of different channels so it will be hard to unlock with a grabber.
