Harness connector question
So last weekend i took the plunge and did my first 1.6 to 2.0 swap and now i have hit a wall. I dropped the motor in and changed the harness to the appropriate one but i have two questions. Both of equal importance.

the car-1996 200sx was 1.6, now a 2.0
Harness- 1996 200sx SE-R harness(unless i was lied to)

1st- I have a connector that seems to not go anywhere and the motor starts and runs without it.... ??? I tried looking for wiring diagrams, but have found squat. The connector itself is a female connector, its gray in color, has 5 prong openings, but only 4 conductors come to it.

(none), (pink), (black), (brown), (brown/yellow).

the connector itself branches out from the engine wiring harness comings from the ECU right at the same spot where the two connectors for the distributor and one for the oxygen sensor.

If anyone has any information on this, would be awesome, i know the motor runs and its all fine and dandy, i need to know so i have my bases covered. I took this harness out of a 1996 200sx SE-R and the car i put it into was a 1996 200sx se if that matters. I am not sure if i was sold the wrong harness or if i am just loosing my mind.

2nd I have two extra wires coming up the harness where the MAF goes. Well i wouldnt say they are extra... i have no clue as to what they are for. From what i understand... the orange and white in the braided pair are always: white=ground and orange=MAF 5vlt read. Ok and i have the 12v feed which is the red/white. Now i have two more wires... a RED and a BLACK along with the MAF that i have no clue about.

Once again, i searched and could not find what these wires could do or that anyone has encountered this... and yes i did the "advanced search->Titles only->" thing too. NO DICE. So here i am hoping one of you fine folks on here could give me a hand.
sorry about the pictures, they were taken with the only camera i have at the moment... a blackberry.

thats some good help there. well i figured out what they were because i found some wiring diagrams and its for the intake temperature sensor.

As far as the gray connector..... i have no idea what it is right still.

The thicker gray wire? as far as i can remember, if you open it, it will reveal an orange wire wrapped with grounding.

Without being near the car I want to say that female connector plugs into the chassis harness at 1 of those 3 connectors infront of the evap canister, but I may be wrong. Do you have all 3 plugged up? Would need to see the diagram to know for sure what that bitch does.

I have all three of those plugged in, and this is the only one i have no idea what to do with. I am hoping its not for anything to do with the temp sensor because i seem to be missing that connector as well....?? im scratching my head here, been trying to find an obd2 pinout that lists each lead and what it does with no luck.
