Thread: Obd2 Port Issue

My obd2 port on my 96 se-r won't communicate at all with my scanner. Works fine on my 98, but the scanner doesn't recieve any signal once it's connected to the port. Haven't checked the wires behind the dash to see if anything is damaged, but any chance it could be something else besides wiring?

Stock or programable ecu? Swap car? Did it ever work? If so when did it stop?

Check your fuses. It will refuse to communicate if a fuse is popped. I know this for sure. It happened to me.

Never swapped, its a stock de and im not sure how long it hasn't worked for since I've haven't had the car for long. Ill check the fuses and update once I do, thanks for the help guys.
