Gauge/AFC etc. mounting/positioning pic thread
This is a thread for people wondering where to put their gauges/boost control etc. and will they fit.

Or just to show off what you've got

So post em up, with the make/model of your car, pro's/con's and gauge size

hoping to be an informative thread not just pics with no specs

I'll start
S14/240sx

fibreglass stereo surround replacement panel

52mm 2" gauges

LIKES: nice easy install ,gauges on bottom face up a little for better reference, can fit 60mm in this configuration, still retains lighter

DISLIKES: gauge furthest away bit hard to reference in 1st, 3rd and 5th, loose ash tray+din pocket

On my b14 I got rid of the cup holders and made a mount that went between the ac/heater controls and the radio. I'll add pics when I find them.

I can't find any pics of it completed, these are the only pics I could find. I painted it black when it was done, it turned out alright for my first time working with fiberglass.

^ Looks like you did a nice job on it, They always look better painted satin black IMO.
Always been a fan of the AEM gauges, they blend into the interiors well

Great work!!!

Here's another old one I did that clips into A/C slot and moved A/C controls under stereo

Cant find photo with the cover on ,
and I've painted the gauge rim satin black looks way better

I mounted my 60mm boost and egt guages in cups on the column cuz I didn't want everybody and their dog to see them on the A-pillar...also, it's mo-sleeper!

Also moved the AC controls and stereo down a slot and added oil pressure, oil temp, and water temp. I chose some black face Stuart Warner guages that had ANSI symbols for that clean oem look.

Thank you...yes, that is my Greddy Profec B. I had to move the dimmer switch iirc to a different hole but one was available so no worries.

I like the clean, factory look so I chose those Stuart Warner gauges cuz they had the ANSI symbols on them.

Sleeper!
