Thread: JDM DE Harness on JDM GTIR DET ENGINE

hello!,

So Blew my DE engine.. so instead of rebuilding I want to transplant my spare Pulsar GTIR Engine.

So I would like to have some inputs about the harness. If I can use the existing DE Harness on it?

I check the diagram on DE and Pulsar ECU Pinouts

Genis-X :: SR20DE ECU Australia - DE

ECU Pinout Diagram - 90-94 Pulsar GTi-R SR20DET | Canada GTiR - GTIR

It seems it has the same pinouts. except on Pin 26.. which is Air Temperature Sensor..

Can this be rewired? or any?

air temp sensir you dont need to connect that..

Use DE harness no no problem on compability

Make sure you wire in the resistor packs for the injectors and swap the TPS wires.

Thanks for info. though I still have the PUlsar harness on me but i just don't want to rewire the whole thing.. So I can use those except on injectors and TPS.. so I can use the pulsar harness on that part?

The injectors are fine, you have to wire in ether the stock resistors pack or your own resistors. The TPS plug you just need to change the pins in the plug.

hmm.. do you know any link to wire up on the resistors?
