Squirlz is right (as usual). Components in the rear are a complete waste. They will hurt imaging and staging for the front passenger. For my money I NEVER ran rear speakers and spent the extra $ I saved (by not buying rear speakers) to buy better front speakers. Even when I competed in SQ I never ran rear fill and the car always scored well.

Sell them off and get yourself better fronts or a good amp and call it a day! Especially in our small cars!

Did anyone in this thread get a chance to check out the Panda at the convention? No rear speakers of any kind. Midbass in a tiny box in the door, along with a midrange and a tweeter. Sub in the trunk. Best sounding system I have ever owned. Like Wes stated, the money you save by skipping rearspeakers can get you a nice midbass and moves all the sound to the front where it belongs.

Think about it, do you go to a live concert and face the back of the auditorium to hear the band?

Yeah I'll stay with the Polks in the rear, I have a lot of passengers in my car so rear music is nice to have.

I'm trying to avoid running an additional amp, I did get an inline Amp for my Alpine HU. I haven't seen the benefits of it on my polks, but I don't do loud music too often.

That's assuming you like live music, I personally hate live music. I do like good surround sound.

Front components + a single sub = SQL!

But the components need to be installed in the correct position, makes the world of difference
