Any DIY Threads for B14 Speaker Swaps?
Stupid topic - I assume it is fairly basic, like with other cars, but I like to get pre-reads when I can..

1) Do the front door panels have to be removed?
2) Confirm that 6.5s all the way around are OK..

Any pictures or DIY you know of would be helpful.

Thanks,

I just got new panels because prvious owner had cut a circle for the front speakers to fit. It has polk audio momo in the front and it had infinity's in the back. So i got new panels and they wouldnt fit (very limited space) So i put the door speakers in back and rear in the front because thats how it shouldve been done. And i must say it sounds amazingly better

Dude honestly those polks are badass! They have alot of bass for 6.5's they would rattle the mirrors and all this other shit i would try to find -_- ahha but i think those infinitys are WAY nicer now that they are in a compressed area like the door other then the trunk

That's the reason bass typically goes in the back/trunk. You want to hear the music in the front.

i love my fusion comps i need to buy another set for doors. but they are basslicious. but yea to both.

if u still need pixs ill take some Saturday for yea on how to take door panels off. i plan to fiberglass the bottom of my doors panels due to wanting to bring my speakers out to show em off, and both door panels have cracks in the storage area
