battery light stays on
well ive replaced the alternator and still have battery light on its charging at 15 volts constantly i need to know what controls the field on our vehicles i just hope it isnt my ecm 
i was soldering on a new connector when i slip and the wire touched my down pipe for just a split second i open my ecm and didnt see and burning is there any other controller for it ?
