thanks for the help. you guys have been GREAT! i was curious to kno, has anyone ever installed LED's in their nx1600 cluster? or would that just be pointless? i ask because i love LED's and am picking some up now for my city lights in my tsuru headlights

i think the only spots for the led would be for the odometer mileage marker

There's also 2 bulbs that light the plastic layer that has all the markings for the various indicators. You can change those to change the look a bit.

There's a difference between the word SPEEDO and SPEED SENSOR. Please use accordingly.

As for your question, you need a special SPEED SENSOR when you use the digital cluster. The SPEEDO will be off if you use the wrong SPEED SENSOR. What SPEED SENSOR you need depends on what motor and transmission you use.

oh ok . i would need a 92 nx2000 sensor . i was confused wire the whole wiring to the speedo topic .

what speed sensor would i need? i am running a VE with a b15 trans in my b13. the guy i got the cluster from gave me a speed sensor, and i dont know what kind it is, or if it will work. its kind of stubby and has a yellow gear.

@ All-out: If the B15 is an SR transmission, then you need an SR speed sensor, and not the GA sensor
